I’m an experienced arts journalist with a wide-ranging background in writing, editing, proofreading, research, analysis and social media marketing, including collaborations with top media brands like Netflix. As evidenced by my five years’ plus of proofreading and copy-editing experience, I have a keen eye for detail and am meticulous in everything I do, which makes me a great fit for process-driven and administrative work.

I’m also adept at communication, having over four years’ experience writing compelling journalistic articles (often translating technical and abstract concepts for lay audiences), editing to high brand standards and improving social media engagement at an online media publication with a circulation of 600k+. The nature of my work has required me to be a conscientious and critical lateral thinker, and as such I have developed strong foresight and a creative approach to problem-solving. I’m also a very fast learner, and can adapt and prioritise my skills in writing and editing according to a wide range of briefs, whether working on professional output from media brands, academic journal articles, or private clients.

I graduated with awards for the highest achieving student in department, and have continued to maintain that level of excellence post-grad, as attested by the fact that I quickly turned a casual internship in 2017 into a senior part-time role in the competitive arts journalism job market.
